Dr. Arunkumar S. Thankappan Pillai, Ph.D., C.Psych.

Dr. Arunkumar S. Thankappan Pillai, Ph.D., C.Psych. is a registered member of the College of Psychologists of Ontario, licensed in the areas of Clinical Psychology and Rehabilitation Psychology. Dr. Pillai has over two decades of professional experience in psychological assessments, cognitive behavioral therapy and mindfulness based psycho-therapeutics as well as clinical management of multicultural clientele. He is a member of the Canadian Psychological Association (CPA) and the Ontario Psychological Association (OPA), and a diplomate of the Canadian Academy of Pain Management. He holds Bachelor's, Master's, and Doctoral Degrees in Psychology from the University of Kerala, India. He also holds two M. Phil Degrees in Medical and Social Psychology from the Ranchi University and in Futures Studies from the University of Kerala. He was trained in Clinical Psychology at the Central Institute of Psychiatry. Dr. Pillai provides psychological assessments and treatment to adult clients affected by the sequelae of motor vehicle and workplace accident-related trauma. Dr. Pillai provides services in English, Tamil, Hindi and Malayalam.

Stennis Joseph, M.Phil., C.Psych. Associate

Stennis Joseph, M.Phil., C.Psych. Associate is a registered member of the College of Psychologists of Ontario in the area of Clinical Psychology. She completed her M.Phil. in Clinical Psychology from Osmania University, India. She practiced as a licensed Clinical Psychologist in India for many years. Since 2018, she has been working with Psychological Recovery Clinic. She provides psychological treatment and assessment services to adult clients affected by the sequelae of motor vehicle and workplace accident-related trauma. Ms. Joseph offers services in English, Tamil and Malayalam languages. 

Bahareh Mohebbi, M. Psy., C.Psych. Associate (Supervised Practice)

Bahareh Mohebbi, M. Psy., C.Psych. Associate (Supervised Practice) is a registered member of the College of Psychologists of Ontario in the area of Clinical Psychology. Ms. Mohebbi is also a Registered Psychotherapist (RP) with the College of Psychotherapists of Ontario. She has over nine years of experience providing both assessment and therapy under supervision. Ms. Mohebbi also has completed a training in PGAP (the Progressive Goal Attainment Program), an evidence-based treatment program for reducing disability associated with pain, depression, PTSD, acquired brain injury, cancer, and other chronic health conditions. Additionally, she has completed the Intensive Sex Therapy Training Program at the University of Guelph. Through her extensive training in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and experience, Ms. Mohebbi assists clients at many critical junctures and decision points in their lives. She takes a humanistic client-centered approach, choosing the evidence-based therapeutic modalities that best meet the unique needs of every client. Ms. Mohebbi is fluent in both English and Farsi. 

Sanghamitra Gautam, M.Phil., C.Psych. Associate (Supervised Practice)

Sanghamitra Gautam, M.Phil., C.Psych. Associate (Supervised Practice) is a registered member of the College of Psychologists of Ontario in the area of Clinical Psychology. She completed her M. Phil in Clinical Psychology from Manipal University, India, where she also practiced as a licensed Clinical Psychologist. She is a Registered Psychotherapist (R.P) and a good standing member of the College of Registered Psychotherapists of Ontario (CRPO). She has 7 years of rigorous academic exposure in psychology. She has over 10 years of work experience with clinical and non-clinical populations, including children, students and corporate employees. She has experience working with clients of trauma and abuse. In addition, she works extensively with clients suffering from various substance abuse disorders and serious mental disorders. She provides psychological support and various behavioral and cognitive behavioral therapies. She has very good interpersonal and communication skills and is fluent in English, Hindi, Urdu, Assamese and Bengali. 

Enias Thomas Pasipanodya, Ph.D.

Enias Thomas Pasipanodya, Ph.D. completed his doctoral degree in Clinical Psychology from Banaras Hindu University, India. His advanced clinical training has seen him work in a variety of settings including rotations at hospitals, outpatient psychiatric services, wellness centers, health and cognition clinic and non-governmental organizations working with trauma victims. He received extensive training in the assessment and treatment of adults with different mental health related concerns. He provides treatment for various difficulties including trauma, anxiety, depression as well as other mood difficulties and personality disorders. Pasipanodya’s primary treatment modalities are cognitive behavioural therapy, acceptance and commitment therapy and mindfulness-based cognitive therapy. He also works using an eclectic approach to incorporate empirically supported approaches in order to tailor treatment to meet his clients’ needs. Pasipanodya welcomes clients with diverse backgrounds, sexual orientations and gender identities.
